Recently I photographed an Anti-Military fashion show that was put on by the Woman's and Gender's Studies department of my university. The article can be found on online. What do you think about wearing clothing that represents an idea?
After my parents got married over 25 years ago, my dad decided to drag my mom to the beautiful and cold landscape of Alaska. They peacefully lived among the bears and "cruise line" tourists in Anchorage for about two years until my mom just couldn't stand waking up to frosted windows and cold feet any longer. My dad took a few more casts on his fly rod before they packed up and flew back to the lower 48 (they may or may not have stopped in Hawaii to warm up on the beach first). I found these pictures of their years together there and was inspired by the photographs, fashion and love!
My friend has created a shirt screening company, TwoMen Red Jackets. He has a few amazing designs but the one I feature is by far my favorite. These are some pictures I shot of a local DJ, D'Jason, who attends the U of O, for Ethos magazine. Contact TwoMen Red Jackets.
Last Saturday, May 8th, my campus at the University of Oregon held a music festival that was powered by bikes. Bikes were set up along one side of the stage and audience members took turns peddling to power the music! The festival was mostly powered by bike power, including the stage, a smoothie blender, and an arts and crafts station. The festival lasted all day and the food was incredible! I may or may not have visited the Indian cart one to many times.
